Renewing America's Compacts of Free Association with the Freely Associated States

The Freely Associated States of Palau, the Marshall Islands, and the Federated States of Micronesia are valuable, longstanding partners of the United States. Renewing the Compacts of Free Association, or COFA, is a vital piece of legislation that provides these microstates with economic resources and national security funding while giving the US the ability to deter Chinese aggression in the Pacific and readily assist our allies in the region.
