As we know, once people gain power, they are loath to give it back; the FBI and DOJ continue to target political campaigns, abuse the FISA court to surveil Americans, and repress parents' attempts to protect their children.

The Constitution clearly outlines the separation of powers between the federal branches of government: Congress creates laws, the Courts interpret and apply those laws, and the Executive enforces them. For too long, federal courts have deferred to unelected bureaucrat interpretations of laws passed by Congress, in many instances drastically twisting the statute's intent.
