1) Who introduced you to hunting and the shooting sports?

I grew up in a very rural setting, miles from any nearby town, with our closest neighbors being several miles down a dirt road. When you’re raised this way, you quickly learn independence and the importance of being able to protect yourself. While growing up we always had guns around to use for hunting and when we butchered. My introduction to shooting sports was through our county 4-H programs and target shooting. We were taught from a young age how to safely use guns and the respect you should have for them.

This morning I watched a video of Harriet Hageman in Congress. I voted for her voice to represent me, and here she was fighting against the federal government censoring our voices over social media platforms.

Since the start of the 118th Congress, and with Republicans back in control of the House of Representatives, we have uncovered a great deal about the two-tiered system of justice that has been created at the hands of bad actors operating in the shadows of our federal government. We often surmised that there seemed to be a different set of rules for Democrats and Republicans, but now, through whistleblower testimony and uncovered documents, we know this to be true.

The House Judiciary Committee held a hearing on Thursday of last week entitled “Oversight of the Federal Trade Commission.” Lines of questioning were heated at times, with Committee members grilling FTC Chair Lina Khan on ethics concerns, personnel moral, and failed merger challenges.

Washington, DC – Today, Rep. Harriet Hageman voted in support of H.R. 3935, the Securing Growth and Robust Leadership in American Aviation (SGRLAA) Act. The SGRLAA Act will improve operations of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), aid in workforce development, provide for additional infrastructure improvements, maintain safety standards, and improve the flying experience for all passengers. The SGRLAA authorizes programs and funding levels for the FAA through 2028.
