Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Harriet Hageman joined her Republican colleagues in passing a historic rescission package, sending it to President Trump’s desk. This measure removes $1.1 billion in annual federal funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (PBS & NPR), and $7.9 billion from USAID foreign aid programs, totaling $9 billion in reclaimed taxpayer dollars.

Washington, D.C. –  Senator Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), alongside Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) and Representative Harriet Hageman (R-WY), today introduced the Wyoming Education Trust Modernization Act, legislation to amend Wyoming’s State Act of Admission to provide the state’s permanent school land fund with enhanced investment flexibility, potentially increasing annual returns for K-12 education.

WASHINGTON – Today, Congresswoman Brittany Pettersen (CO-07) – alongside Senators Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and John Boozman (R-AR) and Representatives Harriet Hageman (WY-AL), Nikema Williams (GA-05), and Young Kim (CA-40) – introduced the Veterans Affairs Loan Informed Disclosure Act of 2025 (VALID Act). Despite potentially offering thousands of dollars in savings over the life of a loan, VA loans are underused – with only 10% to 15% of eligible veterans using the benefit, and some states as low as 6%.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Dave Taylor (OH-02) and Representative Harriet Hageman (WY-AL) today announced the introduction of Connor’s Law, which will codify President Trump’s Executive Order requiring CDL drivers to maintain a basic proficiency in English in order to be licensed to drive on American roads. This bill includes an out-of-service provision, which will revoke CDL licensure from any current license holders who fail to adhere to language requirements.
