The Department of Labor should focus on labor, not "climate literacy"

Instead of working to address labor shortfall and ensure benefits and rights in the workplace, the Department of Labor has chosen to focus its efforts on creating a "climate adaption plan" that in no way relates to their congressionally-assigned duties.

My amendment will ensure that the department will stop this absurd preoccupation with climate justice goals that cause direct harm to the pocketbooks of America's workers. It's time the DOL addresses the labor issues facing our country instead of exacerbating those issues through ill-thought out climate policies that harm American jobs and waste taxpayer dollars.
