For over 30 years as a private attorney and now as your representative, I have defended Wyoming against the administrative state. For too long, Washington, D.C. has delegated authority to unelected bureaucrats in a manner that jeopardizes our Constitution.
Administrative agencies have the power to write, enforce, and judicially review law, even though they are unelected and therefore unaccountable to the People. How this translates in Wyoming is the EPA’s ability to bring tens of thousands of dollars of fines per day against a rancher who simply cleared out an irrigation ditch on his property, or small businesses losing resources to complex regulatory compliance.
As a member of the Judiciary Committee, I have primary jurisdiction over administrative law where I am working to restore power in Congress, ensure due process, and otherwise stop the onslaught of trillions in hidden taxes that stem from annual regulatory compliance.

Three FBI whistleblowers testified to a congressional panel Thursday about punishments, revoked security clearances, and firings they endured after telling supervisors things they didn’t want to hear.
“To be blunt, the leadership of the FBI and the DOJ are corrupt,” Rep. Harriet Hageman, R-Wyo., said after listening to the FBI whistleblowers’ testimony.

Harriet Hageman, the conservative Republican who replaced Liz Cheney to represent Wyoming in Congress, went off on the ‘corrupt’ FBI and DOJ during the whistleblower hearing on Thursday.
She said that she would name names, and she did, immediately naming Christopher Wray of the FBI and Merrick Garland of the DOJ, and accusing them of corruption.
This woman is such an immense improvement over Liz Cheney.

Special counsel John Durham has concluded in his report that the Federal Bureau of Investigation should have never launched an investigation into the fallacious accusations that former President Donald Trump’s campaign had a relationship with Russia to effect, alter, or influence the results of the 2016 elect

The Durham investigation into allegations former President Donald Trump colluded with Russia during the 2016 presidential election has only further entrenched U.S. Rep. Harriet Hageman’s belief in federal overreach and leftist witch hunts.
The investigation findings released Tuesday by Special Counsel John Durham concluded that the FBI should never have launched a full investigation into alleged connections between Trump’s campaign and Russia.
Washington, DC – Statement from Congresswoman Harriet Hageman on the conclusion of the Durham investigation:
Federal law enforcement, such as the FBI and DOJ, have severely repressed conservative attempts to express their views, going as far as labeling parents as "domestic extremists" for speaking at school boards and arresting pro-life protesters at gunpoint. Under the FACE Act, multiple conservatives have been targeted.
Meanwhile, far-left and pro-abortion arsonists, rioters, and attackers have been left largely untouched for violence against pro-life clinics nationwide. Despite over 100 attacks against pro-life organizations in the past year, only 1 indictment has occurred.
The Constitution clearly outlines the separation of powers between the federal branches of government: Congress creates laws, the Courts interpret and apply those laws, and the Executive enforces them. For too long, federal courts have deferred to unelected bureaucrat interpretations of laws passed by Congress, in many instances drastically twisting the statute's intent.

U.S. Rep. Harriet Hageman is moving forward with her push against the actions of “unelected bureaucrats,” grilling Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Director Steven Dettelbach about his agency’s regulation on pistol braces and bump stocks during a House Judiciary Committee meeting.
Pistol Braces
Time and time again, ATF bureaucrats use their active imaginations to reinvent and redefine laws passed by Congress. Time and time again, these new interpretations venture farther away from Congress' intent, robbing Congress of their Constitutional right and reclassifying faithful, law abiding citizens into de facto criminals.
The legal standing and safety of American's shouldn't depend on the fickle whims of unelected bureaucrats.
