WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congresswoman Harriet Hageman (WY-AL) joined members of the House Natural Resources Committee for a field hearing on the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA), held at the Jenny Lake Visitor Center in Grand Teton National Park, to discuss the need for reauthorization and meaningful reform in GAOA 2.0.
I recently had the distinct honor to join a House Natural Resources Committee Congressional delegation, or CODEL, to Japan, Taiwan, and Korea. Along with Chairman Bruce Westerman (R-Arkansas), Congresswoman Sarah Elfreth (R-Maryland), Congresswoman Celeste Maloy (R-Utah), and Congressman Nick Begich (R-Alaska), we met with allied foreign leaders and the business community to discuss a host of issues relating to our committee work and the state of Wyoming, including; forestry, energy, mining, resource development, fishing, and national parks.
While America is experiencing a renaissance under President Trump’s leadership, our nation’s capital remains trapped in Biden-era decline.
We recently reached the 200-day mark of the new congressional session, and I am proud to reflect on Republicans’ remarkable progress in delivering results for the American people.
