Washington, DC - Rep. Harriet Hageman (WY) today blasted a frivolous lawsuit filed by a retired lawyer from Laramie seeking to block former President Donald J. Trump and Sen. Cynthia Lummis (WY) from appearing on election ballots in 2024. The suit included Lummis for an unknown reason, since she is not up for reelection until 2026 and will not be appearing on the ballot next year.

Rep. Harriet Hageman, R-Wyoming, called Tim Newcomb’s pro se filing in Albany County District Court “boneheaded” and “tyrannical.”
Newcomb countered, accusing Hageman of having not read the filing, or the U.S. Constitution.
Washington, DC – Today, Congresswoman Harriet Hageman voted against H.R. 6363, the Further Continuing Appropriations and Other Extensions Act. The legislation, which passed with 209 Democrat votes in support, continues current government spending levels into January and February of 2024 and includes no concessions for border security.
Wyoming’s lone U.S. House representative co-sponsored a budget amendment Tuesday that would have defunded a federal law that requires all passenger cars sold after 2026 to have a kill switch.
But the proposed amendment failed Tuesday evening in a 229-201 vote, with eight delegates not voting.
Rep. Harriet Hageman, R-Wyoming, was among 199 Republicans and two Democrats voting to defund the kill-switch mandate. Voting against the amendment were 210 Democrats and 19 Republicans.

For U.S. Rep. Harriet Hageman, Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s support of the terrorist Hamas group’s aggression toward Israel became too much to ignore.
After voting against censuring Tlaib last week for what some saw as antisemitic remarks she made, Hageman voted in favor of censuring the congresswoman Tuesday night.
The difference for Hageman came after Tlaib shared a video over the weekend supporting Hamas.
