Family Values and Education
Wyoming is a unique place – it represents the best of what America stands for. Our values prioritize faith and family. Parents must be highly involved in the education of their children and education should be laser-focused on the priorities of reading, writing and arithmetic, leaving other social issues to be discussed by parents at the time they determine is appropriate. I am committed to fighting for Wyoming parents and their children. I have, and will continue, to advocate for the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death, for religious freedom, and against woke ideology.

The science is clear: boys are boys, and girls are girls; no amount of surgeries or puberty blockers will ever change a person's biological make-up.

1) Who introduced you to hunting and the shooting sports?
I grew up in a very rural setting, miles from any nearby town, with our closest neighbors being several miles down a dirt road. When you’re raised this way, you quickly learn independence and the importance of being able to protect yourself. While growing up we always had guns around to use for hunting and when we butchered. My introduction to shooting sports was through our county 4-H programs and target shooting. We were taught from a young age how to safely use guns and the respect you should have for them.

U.S. Rep. Harriet Hageman doesn’t believe proposed legislation that would remove the words "husband" and "wife" from federal law and replace them with terms like "spouse" is anything more than “another woke messaging bill” from Democrats and President Joe Biden.
“Anything to deflect from inflation, gas prices, food prices and the overall failed policies of the Biden administration and his accomplices in the legislative branch,” the Wyoming Republican told Cowoby State Daily.

Earlier this year Congressional Members in the House of Representatives re-introduced H.R. 82 (The Social Security Fairness Act of 2023). This bill would repeal the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP), which unfairly reduces Social Security benefits for millions of Americans.
WEP reduces earned Social Security benefits for Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) employees who also receive a public pension from another not covered by Social Security.

Montana Republican Rep. Matt Rosendale introduced legislation Monday evening that prohibits the Department of Defense (DOD) from paying for, hosting or supporting adult cabaret performances.
The Daily Caller first obtained a copy of the bill, which defines an “adult cabaret performance” as a performance that features topless dancers, go-go dancers, exotic dances, strippers or male or female impersonators who provide entertainment that appeals to prurient interest.

Congresswoman Harriet Hageman joined 288 other congresspersons and voted in favor of H.R. 467, the HALT Fentanyl Act. The legislation would permanently place fentanyl-related substances (FRS) into Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act.

Wyoming’s lone delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives and 215 of her Republican peers voted Wednesday to shut down President Joe Biden’s student loan debt forgiveness plan.
The Joint Resolution now faces the U.S. Senate, which contains 48 Democrats, 49 Republicans and three Independents. Because the three Independent delegates caucus with the Democratic party, Republicans are the minority in the Senate.
All 216 Republicans voting on the measure voted in favor of it including Wyoming Rep. Harriet Hageman, a frequent Biden critic.
